I have always been partial to all steel bikes. I now have a steel Fierte with a carbon fork and im thinking of switching the carbon fork for a steel one. Can anyone make a suggestion on what fork to go with?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I have been searching for a while and somehow keep coming back to the Rivendell.

I don't know if the Riv fork is going to be the right span and rake. I am not sure if there are any production steel forks that would be worthy of that frame. I would either stay with the carbon fork or have a custom steel fork made. There are plenty of builders who could do a fantastic fork that would be great for the frame.

Interloc racing makes a steel fork for short reach brakes. It's called a lugged cromo 49 road fork.

I've used the lugged crown cyclocross fork and I liked it.

I deleted my post. I was thinking the Atlanta for some reason.
Nevermind.

I ordered the Riv 1" fork last week to have a look at it. Should arrive in a few days; will let you know what I think and happy to do any measurements you like.

Great. Deffinately interested in what you think of it. Did you get the straight or curved?

Thx
