I have a couple of Shimano cartridge BB's where the plastic, non-drive ring has cracked.
Is it possible to use a Phil Wood ring instead?
I've heard that it is possible to do this with UN-72 units, on both sides, but I've lost the link to the original source, and have never seen photographic evidence.
