I've got a great couple of bikes these days. It's been 2 or 3 years since I've had a Serotta, and the possibility of acquiring a new old one makes me remember just how much I love those bikes.

Good chance I'll be picking up an older (early 90s?) colorado frame this week for a good price. It's got a seat tube 2 cm longer than I usually ride but the top tube is right. Thinking I'll just show a lil' less seat post than usually and set it up as an around-town bike. I'll post pictures when it's in my hands. If it does end up in my hands, I'll be asking you guys to check your parts bins. I've got extra wheels, but not much else! :D

Right now I'm thinking single speed with fenders.

What is a Colorado frame like compared to an Atlanta or CSI (the two Serottas I've owned)?

Cheers

The Colorado won't be a lot different from the Atlanta in ride characteristics. If it's an older one, it probably won't have S bend stays. As noted, the top tube will be shorter for a given frame size, in general. The rest of the geometry is pretty close.
