Can anyone tell me where to find the serial number on my early 90's Colorado LT?I have looked around my bottom bracket shell and can't seem to locate it.I am looking to sell it and would like to be able to provide a serial number to potential buyers for authenticity. Thanks for the help.

They were usually running cross-wise on the underside of the BB. If the paint is thick it can make it hard to see.

I've also found serial numbers on the steerer tube, help
ID one frame where the paint obscured the one on the
Bottom bracket.

I have heard (but not actually seen) that some older Serottas had a different bottom bracket shell (Cinelli maybe?) and the serial numbers were put on the dropouts instead of the usual bottom bracket.

K, my 92 Colorado LT has the serial number stamped on the bb shell.
Actually it has 2 lines , the size on top and the a serial number on the bottom...
