Some really stunning and scary photos here of Windham, NY, which sustained heavy damage. I know a forum member whose girlfriend owns a business here that is right across the street from that big white church. Looks like the building is still there and I pray for the best for them . . .

The media have paid a lot more attention to Vermont, but it's hard to say where Irene's devastation has been worse, there or the Catskills. It breaks my heart to see the photos.
