it's the next to last stage...the individual TT...lance is perhaps behind by a bit...or just seconds ahead...that saturday would be the last day in lance's career when he would "turn a pedal in anger"...his last day of true racing in his career...man vs man...race of truth...how dramatic would that be...would he, could he, ever let someone else win that last TT? imagine if the tour came down to that day?

I'm sure that's a script that OLN wouldn't mind, or even the rest of the media for that matter. Bicycle racing would be in the spotlight and more Americans would get interested, if only for a short time.
