Help with Serial Number Please

The serial number on the bottom of the bottom bracket shell reads SW 56440.
I would like to know the year it was made and any other information about it.

I'm guessing SW is the code for the Paramount, 56 is the size, and it's the 440th one made. Serotta didn't put anything in the serial number to indicate year from 1990 on. If it's a low serial number you can figure out the year by knowing what year a particular model was introduced. I believe the Paramounts were first produced in 1998.

There have been mixed reports lately about requests to Serotta for model information. Since it's technically not a Serotta, they may be even less likely to look things up.
