Paul Budnitz has a line of bicycles. I like the styling of http://www.budnitzbicycles.com/number_1.html

It looks like the love child of the Lynskey Cruiser they sold a few years back and the Black Sheep Speedster (the bent seat tube). Through the tube cable routing.

Not sold on the No. 2 which is a 69er.

Opinions?

Made by BlackSheep, interesting. Paul is a Boulder guy who looked at Waterford for a 'while for the 'Budnitz'.

Also the guy behind KidRobot.

Thanks for the interesting information. This link (http://www.coolhunting.com/design/paul-budnitz-bicycles.php) says that Lynskey is building the frame. On the website it says that Lynskey builds the post, stem and bars.

I wonder if Black Sheep built the first run of frames. That would make them more desirable in my mind.

would not be fine if tweaked into road bike geo and build kit?

not sure about ti fork for the right ride characteristics, but the swoop and proportions of those tubes go nicely together.

is the top tube made out of one tube or two in parallel?

maybe Retrotec one better.

got bucks?

Interesting that Black Sheep built him a bike. The bike does look a lot like a Black Sheep Speedster (http://www.blacksheepbikes.com/)

It is a dual tube top tube. You can see it clearly in this picture.

Photography looks nice.

Never heard of the guy, but the aesthetic is pleasing to my eyes.

Unbelievably gorgeous bike...but

What's the point of a city bike that you can't lock outside? My city bike is Bianchi Pista, and I think that is even too nice for a lock outside bike. I do live in NYC though..

Looks nice... something about bike no.2 is a bit more aesthetically pleasing to me.

The local Colnago dealer caries a bike like that..the frame is made in the Czech Republic..
