posting pics

I have tried resizing pics to fit on the forum but theres an error message that the file is to large, and when i go back in the pic is at 100% again and im clicking ok after resizing ther is no apply icon just says ok or cancel after resizing . Do i really need special software to do this the pics were taken with a blackberry curve and i have never had a problem uploading them until now.

I am not following exactly how you are trying to resize.

I personally use Photoshop to resize.

However, I think many people use sites like Photobucket and Flickr which, I believe, have resizing utilities that you can use for free, that allow you to reduce the size of your photos to the appropriate size for posting on this site. Then just post the URL from Photobucket here when you want to show a photie.

Check into that, or check to see if you can download any freeware that can reduce the size for you.

Instead of re-sizing, why not just upload your raw photos to Photobucket and then just post the IMG links? That seems to handle it for me.

Use TinyPic , you can post as BIG or as small as you wish.
