OT: Renting a bike in Trieste, Italy?

I know this is a long, long shot... but I have a friend who is traveling to Trieste in a week or two and would like to rent a bike, primarily to do some touring in Slovenia. I suppose he could also rent in Slovenia.

His son is rowing in the World Championships in Bled, Slovenia... the reason for the trip.

Hey, not answering - only piling on.
I'll be flying to Venice, then driving thru Trieste on the way to Slovenia.
Who knows of the shop/builder to visit while there?
