Too early to talk about fall/winter? ;)

Maybe I have short fingers, but when I get gloves that fit the girth of my hand, it often means I have ~1 cm of extra fingertip room, which makes shifting on Shimano stuff pretty cumbersome.

I don't like any padding (I ride all summer w/o gloves). Any suggestions?

Campy ergonomics don't work with my short fingers.

Have you tried stuffing kleenex in the end of the glove? :)

Can you check out some smart wool or other wool gloves, they have elasticity that helps and should work for you. I am not certain to what temp degree you use gloves, but you could also try bar mitts.

Falsies for gloves? (I'm really showing my age!)

I just sent back a pair of their fall gloves ( the on sale ones) because they were both too tight and the fingers were too short.
I normally wear a medium glove and I am going to need a large.

I'd think you'd want a looser fit anyway for cold weather... thinking of circulation and such.
at least that is how I fit my ski gloves.

Giro Monaco gloves work well in temps down to the mid 40's or so.

Black Diamond ice climbing gloves. The Torque for cool weather. They fit my shortish fingers okay.

I have fairly large hands and have had good luck with Gore Bike Wear Xenon gloves, not to much padding but plenty of warmth. You'll want to have some room in the fingertips, that allows air to circulate which in turn keeps your hands warm. Good luck!

+1 here. Tight means cold. A little room to move keeps the pinkies warm.
