I'll take your stupid "DRY HEAT" anytime over this.
Our current dew point of 81ºF is making our 89º feel like 107ºF. I was just loading my bike up in the 4Runner so I could get out of town for a cooler ride and I am soaked in sweat.

I live in Florida. I know humid. I can't imagine living in Oklahoma or Arkansas this summer with temperatures above 110 degrees WITH high humidity!!

It has been a humid summer.

OTOH, it beats snow, ice, freezing rain, howling winds, sundown at 5:00pm and 15 minutes to get dressed for a winter ride.

and here I am just complaining how it hasn't rained! I miss NY so much all the time, I'd take the snow, the ice and the heat. However when I read the weather as you all have posted I guess for today I'll take living in Tucson just fine. Especially after the beautiful ride this morning. I'm sorry Baltimore hates its people right now. If you need to get to dry heat let us know and we'll prepare a room for ya! ;)

Like Lou says.....but at least we can ride year around in Central Florida. This time of year, I leave out early in AM, and stick a wet (wet both cools and absorbs better than dry) wash cloth in my helmut before I start out, and wring in out about every 10 miles. My ride was over this AM before 10. When sweating this much, watered down Gatoraid or similar is your friend. No problem.

104* today, 30 + something consecutive days of 100* or more. with the usual 60% humidity, 87 sounds dreamy. it will get there in October. enjoy the cool weather.
