No feedback, new user, private sale, starting so cheap....Oh, and he is in Great Britain too...And, I wrote to him asking for the length of the head tube, no response.
But, its my size!
Thoughts?

Steve, I wouldn't bid on that auction. 3 day, England, high bidder kept private, 0 feedback......

if it smells fishey it is either a fish or a french whore- either way I would be wary- Someone may actually need cash fast and has to unload a bike to get it- then again it could be a crook- Its kinda like gambling-

New member, private ID, no feedback, overseas seller, and a low starting price with no reserve.....it looks like a classic Ebay scam. The real question is where did he steal the images from? Anyone recognize the bike?

I would go nowhere near it.

but I would guess that the seller is not from the UK given the spelling of some words and the use of the word gruppo (no one I know uses that word in the UK to describe a group set).
Slightly suspicious this one.

Buyer does accept Paypal however. If you do bid and win paying through that service protects you from fraud.

I wouldnt... the shifters are backwards for that left side road riding...
I wouldn't - not without feedback and a history on ebay of buying/selling other cycling related stuff. Not worth it with all of the good deals you can find. :D

He could ship you a load of junk and as long as he shows proof of shipment, Paypal will do nothing. Also, he may only accept payment from a bank account through Paypal, not credit card. So then you're screwed. I wouldn't touch this with a ten foot pole, and I buy alot through eBay.

doof kinda liked the c-50 from "germany" that used cheezy pictures from magazines (the chick in a teddy astride a c-50...) and announced "I am not one of those foreign scammers"....
