My buddy Scott has just gotten hot and heavy into cycling and had been riding a friend's Colnago Dream B-Stay. He called me and wanted help choosing his own bike. After a lot of looking around, this Attack popped up on eBay, which some of you recall:

So Scott picked it up for $1,800 complete. Yes, $1,800 for what you see. Which was sick cheap. Anyway, he now has a few miles on it and this is his ride report:

"It's about 100 times better than the Colnago."

Cool, no? I'm glad I bought him a Serotta forum jersey.

 I had eyed this one for a while, the geo was just a bit off for me. But a screaming deal for high-end carbon bike with DuraAce. Glad we got a new Serotta fan in the fold.

I purchased my 2009 HSG from Ebay and was "tempted" by that one just for the really low price. Congratulations to your friend, Scott :) .

Sadly, it just reflects the current downward trend in the resale value of custom bikes. The bike I purchased was brand new, never ridden. The seller is an authorized Serotta dealer with an Ebay store and bike is absolutely perfect.
