Ragbrai bus rollover

i was mindlessly watching South Bend, IN local TV news when a story popped up that a bus going home from Ragbrai (the Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa) to Connecticut rolled over on the Indiana Toll Road. Fortunately it looked like nobody was seriously hurt although all had to go to the hospital to be checked out. it wasn't clear what happened to the bikes. They had to climb out of windows to escape. The pictures looked pretty scary. It seemed like it could have been much worse. The driver apparently fell asleep at the wheel.

It is common that "teams" buy old school buses and turn them into their Ragbrai vehicles.

Sheesh, theyd have been better off riding to the event...........glad nobody was hurt worse..............

Looks like a really bad crash and glad no one was hurt worse (article says a woman is in the hospital in serious condition). I saw a lot of broken down team buses on RAGBRAI, the heat and the age of the buses really took its toll.
