i'm am sorry to say i had to run over
a twizzler this morning. i had no choice.
the two lanes of road to my left were
full-up with detroit + japanese steel. the shoulder was
narrow.
i saw the red stick of twisted goodness hopelessly
prone, perpendicular to my path.
setting back in my saddle as if i were riding the pave,
i firmly turned the cranks, and quickly rolled
over the the lost limp licorice-like limb.
