I have a titanium crank set that has no name label on it at all.
Here are some photos of mine. Titanium Chainwheel Set (https://picasaweb.google.com/boywanders/TitaniumChainwheelSetTiCranksetMoratiCranks#slides how/5636070488700966626) https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-6NxP110Kp0U/TjdY55yI3PI/AAAAAAAAA4Q/WTt2wkW7G3s/s800/SDIM3687.JPG
It looks like the same manufacture as the MORATI cranks as picture below.
It's a triple with a 58/94 BCD. I found an article Bicycling magazine wrote a decade ago now no longer exist. Does some know what this crank set is worth?

Whatever the maximum bid is on ebay. Seriously, that might be the only way to ever know.

After searching ebay, found one for $1400 BIN. That will sit there for a while at that price.

When I see them they are always very expensive, $800 or so. Definitely something ideal for ebay. Didn't they break almost as quickly as the forks?

I thought I saw one sell for $1800 not too long ago.

Pretty much.
Really? How many people that you know that used these cranks had broke them?
You sound like they are made of low grade matrial.

It's the attention to machining and welding details that derail many ti products. Once a crack develops in ti it continues about as fast as ripping a newspaper.

As for these specific cranks, do a search on the weight weenies forum. Despite the issues folks still purchase these older cranks.

Regardless of how well the machining or welding job done, it depends on the engineering. Anything and everything has it's breaking point from an engineer's view.
It's obvious that these and many other light crankset have a few things in comon, that they are expensive to make due to the amount of work to produce them. They are also not for every one as far as the rider's weight goes. Besides, the type of riding+habits do account for longevity of light weight cranksets and parts. Just because something is made of titanium does not mean it can withstand a beating. Infact, light weight parts should be use with lots of finese.

That said, if you are a clysdale rider's class maybe these are not best suited!

Nice pictures. They'll help sell it if you decide to go that route.

Wow. Great pictures. Thanks for the memory. Only underemployed Czeck aerospace engineers could come up with that.
