2001 Classique Ti seatpost diameter ??

I have a 2001 Classique Ti and want to double check the seatpost diameter. Can anyone confirm that it is designed for a 27.2 seatpost. I am using a Thomson seatpost and it keeps slipping. I am going to clean off the ti prep that I put on the seatposty and use some carbon paste as that seems to hold most posts when slippage is an issue but I want to double check and make sure I don't need a 27.4

To my knowledge, all Serotta's have 27.2 seat tubes. I installed a Thomson Masterpiece in my Ti frame recently, and recall reading in the little blue instruction sheet, specifically not to use Ti Prep as it will cause the post to slip. They recomment a thin layer of grease and then removal and re-grease several times throughout the season. Good Luck.

Thanks for the info....I guess I should start reading those instruction sheelts. It would make my trial and error process probably go away.
