I have acquired a frame and Edge fork from a Forumite, but I need to buy a compression plug / top cap for the fork. What do I use?

No need for anything fancy / carbon / gold flake / say 'EDGE' on it, etc., just a secure connection. I assume that I cannot use a star-nut, so am searching for feedback as to what to use for this fancy fork.

Thanks for any advice,

Darren

So Pete, this Bens Cycle ad says that it is for Ritchey carbon steerers - this will work with an Edge fork and a King HS? I assumed so, but this confuses me.

Thanks again,

Darren

You can pick up any compression cap that is made for 1 1/8" forks. Although you can get fancy (and I have), a solid one is the "Problem Solvers" compression cap. It can be had for $13 or so from Universal Cycles.

I installed a Problem Solvers plug last night. A pretty cool design at a reasonable price.
