Canyon Torque Wrench

Watching the tour and saw Lotto team riding Canyon bikes, a maker
in Germany. While perusing their site I noticed they had a very different take on a torque wrench. I was wondering if this works well. Has anyone used this?

If you look at it closely it's just a beam type as far as I can tell.

It looks like you grab the black piece with your hand, the bottom metal rod attaches to the fastener, and the bottom rod twists as you torque the bolt. The top metal piece stays stationary and gives a torque indication on the plastic yellow "flag".
