Are these, worth that, to someone?

Cute listing. Says NOS in title, then "has less than 50K's". And, "perfect, with just a little discoloration on the rims". That's not NOS, IMO.

I bought a pair like that for $300-$350 a few years back. GREAT WHEELS! but on ebay they go for about $400-$500....

i'd say this is overvalued at $2K

cool looking wheelset but not worth $2k. wheelset isn't that light. $2k will buy just about any wheelset on eBay. one could build a lighter set for less. kind of like the eBay sellers trying to sell campy 11 speed lockrings for $200. Seller only needs to find a buyer searching for the look.

If you look more you will find many of these germans selling stuff way over their heads. The seller has good stuff tho... he did a good job cleaning the wheels too, maybe took him 2 weeks to do it and thats why he is asking so much :)

he's 900-1000eur above value..figure 400-550euro here for the wheels.

*edit* check out the $650 record 9sp shifters, Germans wouldn't pay that much thats why it's on ebay.com

Originals with sl hub-maybe.

The op ebay listing is for gen 2 with 12 front spokes-so no, front wheel is not very strong.

shamals come up pretty commonly on ebay, some are beat up though

They were a very good wheelset in there day and still aren't bad but that's way overpriced.
I love when someone says "perfect cond" then proceeds to tell you five things wrong with them.
