I turned on ESPN after my ride at the 85th minute. Awesome game

It was nice to see the stadium actually rooting for the U.S. to come back after the referees tried to steal the game.

+1. The penalty kick that was not and the red card was wrong too. Happy they won.

US should win to france but the japan game it will be interesting to watch.

How about Brazil no. 13 faking the injury in overtime when no one was around her, waiting for a stretcher, and then jumping off the stretcher and running to reenter the game as soon as she was on the sidelines?

That game was such a mess after the half!

Some great heart was shown by the US women. Hope and Abby really pulled the team through after some really tough calls. And their conditioning paid off playing a man down for so many minutes and pulling off that sweet goal in extra time AFTER the 30 minute OT.

Interesting that it was the anniversary of the 1999 win....

Hope they can keep it rolling come Wednesday :beer:

Beyond incredible..unbelievable. Love to see the spirit for the US team! If they would have lost, it would have been one of the earliest rounds they have lost in awhile.

What can you say - The never quit attitude shows what champions are made of. Happy for Abby Wambach and the entire USA team -
