Anyone know about this basso 3 model

Never heard of it. Could that just be a curlicue on the decal, not a three?

very funy no its a three, ihave seen that there were or r three brothers at the company but was curious as to the significance or the 3 on the fork lugs and bb

It was on all Basso frames from that era, I think. No special model 3.

Maybe it's a Gap?

i think your right yu think its worth $565 with dura ace train and hubs ,with 600 brakes

The 3 is supposed to look like a 3 or a B, as mentioned, for the 3 Basso brothers. All the frames had the logo, at least in this era. My guess would also be that it's an older Gap. I believe they were Columbus SL. I think the price is reasonable for a Gap in good condition with no issues. Comparable Italian SL framesets sold new for around $700 in 1995, with a complete DA bike around $1950.

I believe the first digit of the serial number will tell you the year it was built, but don't think there is any model info. there.
