So yesterday I found Bike Stop which rents newish $500 Giant hardtails but it was 95 degrees and the air was loaded with smoke from the wildfires in Utah.
I'm hoping for clearer air today. Does anybody have recommendations for moderate, maybe scenic rides, on or off road?

Old Town Cyclery is the Serotta dealer-nice shop but no rentals.
