I coach a guy who just bought a Trek Madone with a Bontrager cycle computer. He has a program on his iPhone that records the info (and more) from the bike. I believe its all transmitted through BlueTooth.

It also has a really cool feature where the cadence sensor is built into the left chainstay...

I can ask him what program it is and if he likes it.

so the whole time you're on the bike, the phone is on burning down the battery? or can it record with minimal battery usage?
