Did it involve removing pedals?

Forgot to close your QRs?
Clipping out of your right pedal then trying to put your left foot down?
Passed on a $750 pristine Confente because it was 1cm too long in the seat tube?
Forgot to pack your shoes when you left for that 2 hour drive to the race?

Whaaaat?!?
Come on, out with it.

Alright alright alright....

After some 10 odd years of cycling, and using presta valves, I finally figured out how the pump head fitting is supposed to work. Yes, I actually thought I had to flip it one way or the other depending on presta or schrader. I cursed the damn thing thinking it was a POS...until I finally did it right today. Amazing(ly dumb)!!!

We all do idiotic things and can say worse.

What guy hasn't been asked by his spouse/ girlfriend. "Does this dress make my butt look big?" and we hesitated a few milliseconds too long.
End of night.

I have always feigned minor hearing loss in those types of situations. That way, you can always respond "huh?" and point to your ear if your brain doesn't kick into gear quite fast enough. After 20 years of marriage you learn a few survival techniques.

Proper answer:
"No, the dress makes your butt look perfect!"

Possibly more truthful answer:
"No, your butt makes your butt look big."

Or you can marry a woman with a great body and a great attitude and be honest all the time about how her clothes look on her so that she'll believe you more when you tell her something looks great on her.

Yup. It's worked for me for 22 years.

True that. I think my wife looks pretty good in most things. However, have you ever been faced with this situation: Wife goes to salon to get her hair colored/cut or whatever. You come home and she gives you the stink eye, followed by "so what do you think of my hair? Better? You don't even look at me!" You look at her, and being a typical dude, you honestly can't tell the difference. So what is the correct answer?
