transporting bikes

I bought a new car and so need a new bike rack. I'm think either trunk or hitch mounted instead of on the roof as I have had. The car is a Honda civic sedan. Any recommendations as to what would work best and what brand and model to get? I'm looking to carry two bikes.

I like my Saris Bones. I would recommend the three bike version, just to give extra room.

Have used the Saris on a '97 Civic which works fine. Also have the Yakima roof system on a 2003 Civic. Good also, but pricier. Even on a smaller car like that, you can put at least 3 bikes on top by installing the trays in opposite directions.

even one of the cheapie Hollywood trunk racks works pretty well and having the bikes back there may reduce the noise in the car caused by the turbulence of the bikes because it will be behind you rather than directly over head.
