Wow, good for the nice bike riding lady cop.

I hope she's able to send the message we all need sent to the judge and, as importantly, the prosecuting attorneys who all too often don't take offenses against cyclists seriously.

It does seem worthwhile.

Oddly, the thing that stuck out to me most was not some "cyclists' rights" aspect, but instead the fact that the guy was a criminal who had an illegal gun at home. The whole notion of how to react to rude drivers is an interesting one. It is so easy to want to get angry and slam a quarter panel. The fact that anybody could be packing is a sobering thought. Indeed, being a recent father two thoughts go through my head. What example would I want to set and what happens if the person is a lunatic and I don't make it back to my daughter.
