So I'm not very good at this, but I think I managed to upload one of my photos of a recent cycling trip to Moab. More to follow.

Thanks to everyone for the Moab recommendations (Moab recommendations (http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=8101&highlight=moab) )

please feel free to add any recent ride pix you have!

That last picture was at the start of an epic 65mi ride that took me from 3,000ft alongside the Colorado R. to 8,000ft amidst lingering snow, and then 20 minutes of 30-45 mph downhill.

This next series is from Arches Ntl Park. The ONLY way to see this park is on a bike!

beautiful country- looks like great riding.

Nobody would mistake that area for Eugene. :D

Looks like Dildo Nat'l Park.

Sorry for that remark!

yeah, it was a little more arid than I'd expect in Eugene, and the color palate tended more toward the red than green.

Kevan, William: Thank goodness I had the foresight to ask Kelly to build the bike with the "bulletproof" option!

Dave: anyone with the same dirty mind as I (and, obviously, you) would find some of the formations a little silly...

We also did some canyoneering, rafting and Mt Biking (I just slowed the others down) but may FAVORITE was the road stuff

and not just of the size of some of the, uh, 'formations'.

That must have been a great, great place to be out and riding about. Some day...

Great pics -- I've been to Moab twice on cycling trips and absolutely love it. Here's a shot of my riding group in March at Deadhorse Point.

Great Moab pics. One of my favorite places on earth - even if I have to keep myself doped upon on allergy meds because of that red dust.

Hey Josh...it's Eric from the Skinny Tire! Just wanted to say "hi". Your shot of the gang at Dead Horse Pt came out great! It's sad but I did not bring a camera on the trip, so I don't have a shot from there...my shoddy memory will have to do.

Skrawny -- Awesome pictures! That is amazing country. How were the temperatures? I'm surprised to see that much snow in the La Sals still.

slowgoing -- My allergies killed me up in Moab also, even with doped up on Claritin, Flonase and all. I recently did a allergy test and tested super-sensitive to Juniper, which I suspect may have been the cause in addition to all the dust.

arsegas, thanks for the compliment, but w/ such beautiful lanscape it's hard NOT to take great pix!

Temp was about the 70s, occasionally windy, with threats of thunderstorms that never materialized.
