This is an insanely great deal from a great guy for a great bike with a great provenance. (This used to be Thwart's once upon a time, right, Bob?)

Great bike. Great seller. Great price. I mean really, really, really GREAT...
I'm half-tempted to buy it back, but reviewing the 'regrets/bike sale' thread is therapeutic. And then there's that Shimano stuff hung on it... ;) :D

I don't know the players, but agree with all the greatness mentioned above. Helluva deal for someone. Once again I find myself suffering from short-man's complex.
Good luck with the sale, which should take about 31 seconds. Maybe less.

Classy bike--frame should last a lifetime.

I should have mentioned it's available as a frame set also. $1100
Frame/fork with CK headset (that I installed after receiving it from Thwart last august).
Best riding frame out there IMO and the only reason I'm selling it is it a a bit too tall (55 cm c-t-c or 58.42cm c-t-t), the Merlin I recently purchased rides almost as nice especially after installing a Wound Up to mimic the Seven.

Wow... I love it. Well I hate the fork but I love the frame. An Enve road fork would really spruce it up.

There is a reason Spectrum spec'd Wound Ups with many of their frames and it wasn't for their beauty.
After riding the Seven with the Wound Up I purchased one for the Merlin.

"reviewing the 'regrets/bike sale' thread is therapeutic."
I may have to try that, Tom.

I've read many rave reviews about the Wound up forks. What makes them so great?
