Hi folks, haven't been here in a long time, but I have bought and sold many items here over the years. I have a few items that may be of interest. First my 7-11 SLX Merckx, its a 58ST/57TT I bought it on EBAY several years ago, haven't ridden it much, I just admire it. It does ride great tho, every one who rides it loves it. It is in super shape, as you can see the paint is excellent, the chrome shiny and bright. It is original DA 8 spd, the only thing that i have done to it is change to a white regal saddle. One of the shifters is a little scratched too, it came that way to me.The wheels are campy, silver and black. The bottle holders dont come with it, zMudshark already stole them. Cinelli criterium bars 44cm, cinelli stem looks like 11.5. There are a few chips (pix upon request for serious buyers), buts its a solid 9/10.
I an including spare parts with it so you will never have to worry-a second set of DA 8sd shifters, rear derailleur, and a headset, all very nice. I have lots of cogs too if you want to buy those. $2200, you pay ship conus.

S&S SOLDI also have a NOS S&S travel case. Original style 10", Edge pull, hard case (gray). See http://www.sandsmachine.com/ac_hard.htm for more details. This case was NEVER used, like new. Comes complete with keys, a set of cable splitters, coupler grease, and the security net (http://www.sandsmachine.com/ac_net.htm), that allows inspection without removal of the bike from the case. 10 x 26 x 26 (the dark spots in the pix are shadows). $325, you pay ship CONUS.
thanks, best to all

Hi Barry;

Hopefully all is well in the land of the sun. I see your old Fierte every once in a while at Smolak.

I am also in the thank goodness this one's too big for me camp. Beautiful bike. It would get me divorced!

For a good guy. I've seen the extras, a set of STI's a RD, BB, a pile of cogs, lots more, I think.

Heck of a deal, and heck of a nice guy.

Someone buy this.

I just spoke with barry1021, this is still available.

This is a really nice bike, and comes with tons of spare parts. Make him an offer.

I just chatted with Barry1021. He is going to put this on eBay, probably this week. Someone here should snag it, and save him the trouble of eBay.

You guys deserve this bike.

It is a very sweet looking bike (needs a silver stem though :) ) I think the issue is that at $2200 the choices are vast and wide... I actually gave this some thought.

EDIT: showing my lack of history on such matters, where were these produced?
