After a couple of fittings with smiley and numerous efforts to shoehorn myself into my Lynskey, I've accepted it was just built for someone completely different from me. I've got long legs /short torso and the super steep STA along with short head tube on this bike is just not working.
I'm looking for something with a 52.5-54 tt, 73-73.5 sta and a head tube between 14-16 cm. THe current head tube is 12cm, and without a stack of spacers and a +6 stem, i end up slapping thighs into chest.
Let me know what you've got. My budget for this is flexible; ie, if the frame is right, I'll probably spend just to end the search and avoid going custom. Prefer steel or Ti, but even a really nice alu frame might work.
Thanks!

Maybe a 54s Fierte, but my 54s HSG IT only has a 12.1 HT.

Brent Harrell has a couple of more bikes for sale. The two Serottas were sold on the forum, but the Olmo and Weigle shown in the below link are still available and in that size range. I don't have a price, but if interested, I can ask him.

If you can figure out a way to get past the fact that you're riding a 'girl's bike' any of the Specializedeseses should work: Amira = Tarmac, Ruby = Roubaix.
Or something like the Jamis Endura line? Or the Look 'comfort' model (I forget the name) Stick with Italian bikes: Colnagos mostly if you want something fancy. They useta be shorter front to back than some others.
I got nuthin for sale myself that'd work unless you're dying to have a 1996 A-1 Allez frame and AL fork. Oh, did I mention 1" threaded?!

What i would like to see is a picture of your actual bike and one of you actually in the bike, i know u have been fitted but just wonder how the set up is, and how low is that bothers you hit your chest, do you ride using a tri bar? road bars?? up? down?? if you put a shorter stem you will get more upright tho.
The only frames i remember that are like 2 cms shorter are the miyata team (a light blue one), a 56 is around 54 top tube and gazelle. Those two are like what you are looking for.
Any bike with a relaxed angle should do it also, as more relaxed the angle the shorter the reach...
I was going to offer you one of my bikes but probably they wont fit you.
cheers.

Ultraman, the bike as set up now is fine, it's just too squirelly. I had a 12ish drop that was just far too severe. Post fit it's about 9 or 10 and much more comfortable in and out of the drops.
As for the 'bent, ha. Funny one. You nearly lost your pants over the fierte, ninja.

I have a Colnago Active Plus frame set in 50s that sounds like it would fit the bill. It's an aluminium frame (Columbus Zonal) with carbon rear seat stays. It's a lovely blue colour and rides well. Let me know if you'll break your steel/ti rule for it (you should!).
:o)

You need one of these.
I was in the same boat, bought this and love it! Twin 73* angles and a 53cm top tube! I love it. If you can find an older 52cm serotta club special please do its a wonderfully riding bike.
