This is a 58cm steel frame, serial #83902, built either in 1982 or 1983. The bike is being sold as pictured, including wheels and all components shown. The bike was originally built with Campy Record components, as available at the time. The stem/handlebar and gearing were reconfigured a couple years ago for use by a family member; the freewheel is a six speed Shimano, cogs are 14-16-18-21-24-28.

There are numerous scratches/chips in the paint, but no dents in any of the tubes. I am the original owner and am in California; the bike has been stored indoors and has not been used in the rain.

Serotta was not able to provide measurements or geometry for this frame, but I have taken the following measurements:
Seat tube (measured from center of top tube to center of bottom bracket) 58cm
Top tube (measured from center of head tube to center of seat tube) 57.2 cm
Chainstay (measured from center of bottom bracket to center of rear dropout) 41.9cm
Head tube 16cm

Several high resolution pics are here:

Im glad to provide additional measurements or pics feel free to ask.

This Nuovo Record group is worth $400+ with wheels in my opinion, so someone would be getting this frame/fork for only a couple of hundred bucks, plus shipping of course. The stem is the only thing that really needs to be replaced (cheap to replace), although most folks would buy a new set of brake hoods, which are available as replicas from a guy in California for a reasonable price. I'm not in the "flipping bikes" mood right now and this bike is too large for me anyway, but this is a good deal, either as a rider or source of parts if you are into vintage. Just my two cents.

I'm interested in the frame, but don't need the groupset or wheels. Anyone want to go in together on this?
