my VXRS' steering isnt as silky smooth as it once was, figure the bearings are going.
anyone know what the non-OEM replacement bearing is?

no useful info on that thread re: sourcing replacements, OEM or aftermarket.

Read the thread again. The Quickset uses bushings, not bearings, they're not meant to be wear items. Follow the adjustment procedure.

incorrect. do you own a time? those bushings are a cane creek headset, not the quickset. read the thread and the link.
heres what a quickset looks like inside. i see lots of little metal balls.

i have in the past for other issues and they generally arent very helpful, so i thought id see what i could turn up on the alternative solutions/sources front.

When I replaced the bearings on my Time, I could find nothing equivalent to the OEM bearings. They are unique to Time.
