Ok , the gay vague thread got me thinking how cool this cummunity is with the addition of a women's point of view and sense of humor . I can only think of a few great ladies we have here that post . Here's who comes to mind :
Ginger ,the first lady of insanity
Spinsistah , making a strong first impression
Rapid Tourist , a true adventure seeker especially when it comes to reading Q's ( we love Ya baby )
sc53 , give her time and she could keep us all honest
I am at a loss to name any other women that post frequently , Help fill out the roll card please and sorry if I forgot to name you :)

Perhaps you might want to quote what you said about a certain Serotta individual on the Saturday ride when we were lost, and you were getting delerious, very tired, and upset. ;) ;)

You KNOW that I am kidding. NO ONE will ever know. Promise!!

Still Lost,

. . . Brian BEAT me up Lake Desolation on HIS fixie, I think I will get worried now.

Smiley, I think there are not more women on the board because women cyclists are inherently more intelligent than men and have better things to do with their spare time than hang around here. Based on my own experiences, I think they are all with Dr. Evil in his secret hideout, plotting world domination! ;)

What started as a call for the women on the forum has degenerated into a bunch of guys talking about getting fixed - how sad.

I get them on their bikes, which I would argue is better. Tell 'ya what, let's get a few local forum rides going, I'll get a few of my riders to join in, and maybe they'll join the forum too. When Ben joined the ride from Belmont we ran into two of my riders who stayed with the group for a few miles. They were on fixed gears and everybody else was on Ottrotts, but you'll just have to take your chances like the rest of the world...

That is bad, Dave. BAD, BAD, BAD.

Here you are, looking for more women to post to the forum and the statement "...and have better things to do with their spare time than hang around here" is SO ENCOURAGING. Does this suggest that Ginger and I should be doing something else too if we have a brain in our head?

I do agree about the part that we are inherently more intelligent.

You lose two stripes for this one, Zebra boy. ;)

I was so busy polishing my medallion that I almost missed this thread on my favorite topic--FEMALE FORUMITES. Just kidding, not that there's anything WRONG WITH THAT. :p :p

Anyway, yes, I am here and female and always pleased to partake in conversations about bikes, dogs and anything else.

I think we need a female bonding session at the next Serotta Open House. Meeting Alexis was wonderful. Would love to meet Ginger, Spin, RA and others. If I plan it, we'll all get lost though. :crap:

Sandy, I will never reveal our conversations while MIA at open house!

Rapid Tourist;

As nice a guy as Sandy is, he is still one of US (a guy).

Your first mistake was following a guy, any guy, who doesn't have a map or know the area he is traveling in (not that we would consult the map if we had one).

You, like all women should realize that going ANYWHERE with a guy and not bringing a map that you can secretly consult to save yourself from our testosterone driven sense of direction is a huge miscalculation.

That being said it was great to meet you at Open House.

Agent Sandy,

Your covert operations in gathering information on the "other" side of the cycling isle have been very effective in helping our understanding of the female cycling psyche. Your research has allowed our scientists to make great strides in developing vocabulary cheat sheets, and standard "non-response" responses to difficult "no right answer/Catch 22" questions posed to us by our wives, girl friends, and female friends. We still have a lot to learn and your work is invaluable to our efforts.

Your next assignment, code name: Estrogen Psyche, is to study their ability & willingness to ask for directions when lost. This is an area we as men need to work on. As always this is top level Hush-Hush. We cannot let them know that we are trying to tap into their superior directional asking qualities.

Keep Up the Good Work Man!!

Major William

PS: In an unfortunate turn of events, Agent BBDave has suffered a testosterone induced implosion and is now in touch with his feminine side. Debriefing will follow.

All right men, Agent BBDave clearly needs our help. If we don't de-tox him soon he'll be carrying a parasol and wearing frilly under garments.

Dirt: get a case of Colt 45 and a beer bong!

TT: get a set of Dugast tubulars (clinchers suck of course), tube of Tube Spooge, & one Maxxim magazine.

Bradford: We need one Bee pinyata filled with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues (preferably the old Cheryl Tiegs issues)and an Ottrott CF top tube.

Alright, alright BD, bring your box filled with old Clown porn tapes (I don't know what the heck we are going to do with it?? ).

Ready?
