Posting issues?

I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing posting issue that I am having. I submit a new post and it takes a while, then I get a server/DNS error. If I try to post again then I get an error msg saying that a duplicate post exists, yet I see no post in the forum...

Edit: Well this post went well. Maybe the title I used in my post is the same as a post I did before.

It happens a lot at night for some reason. Maybe it's during backup time? My forum server has similar issues at night time (when most backups are scheduled to run).

EDIT: Dug up the PM from Keith A, who was nice enough to help me when I was having the same problem:

I have seen this a couple time recently and oddly enough, it was the actual message title and/or contents that was the problem. Once I changed the text being submitted, the message went through. However, I was able to go back and edit the original message with the desired text and it worked...weird.
