Nashbar apparently has these coming in:

With the 20% off code (bikes20) it is only $160.00 - I am thinking about getting one for the trainer. I assume that a 30mm rake fork would be almost impossible to find, but for trainer use it should not matter what fork rake you use.

I guess Fuji screwed up the design since it will only fit a 44T chainring.

Excell has the 2009.5 with more chainstay clearance and the matching fork for $600.00.

Thoughts,

Jeff

Where does it say it needs a 30mm rake fork? Any geometry charts?

Thanks.

Says it'll fit up to a 49T chainring on the Fuji site?

My gearing charts show that:

44/14 = 84.9 inches
44/13 = 91.4 inches
44/12 = 99.0 inches

Those are some perfectly reasonable gears to run on the track -- I don't think most people need more than 99 inches unless they are total mashers. For example, 44/13 at 120 cadence puts you at 32.62 mph. Try keeping that up for more than a lap.

so where can you get a fork with a 30mm rake? and will it cost more than the frame?

I am speculating since Excell has the 2009.5 model and specifically say's it has more chainstay clearance (49T) and the matching fork is included, that Fuji redesigned the frames and reused the forks.
