Take a break from that healthy breakfast and indulge, William. I never knew that the Salvation Army was credited with making the treat popular.

From the site

The "Tour de Donut" bicycle race is a spoof on the "Tour de France." From the mass start, the approximately 32 mile route follows lightly traveled roads over rolling terrain. Riders must stop at two checkpoint stations (donut stops). While donut consumption is not mandatory, the rider is awarded a five (5) minute time credit for EACH donut eaten. Yum!

I wonder if you have the options of eating raised vs. cake donuts, I could put away an hour's worth of raised donuts in short order... cake donuts.... not so much, would feel like a cement mixer in your stomach.

My name is akelman, and I'm a baked goods junkie. And, I should add, I have a special weakness for donuts. Mmmmmmmm donuts! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-4P1WPE-Qg)
