Chorus Seatpost Question

I just picked up a Chorus Seatpost from someone. It looks like there is a heli-coil in the top of the clamp. Is that how they are making it?

I really doubt it, probably stripped out and repaired, but the good news is that if done properly, it's now a lot stronger than original.
Nothing wrong with helicoil other than it's not original.
edit: This "should" have been mentioned if you bought it on eBay.....it would piss me of if I bought it and just found it that way even if it is actually stronger
