I can’t upload photos . . . Have tried .jpg and .bmp and keep getting this error:

Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/phppruZQa' to '/home/serotta/tmp/002e439639068fed633a9ed83a1835d6' in /includes/functions_file.php on line 280

Anybody have any suggestions? I’ve got about 75 other photos from open house I’d love to upload . . .

If you look a little closer at the code I think you'll figure out what happend...

I'm getting the same error messages. Right now it seems the only way to get a picture up is to link to the site where they are posted.

They may have moved the forum to a different server and the temp directory isn't on the new one keeping the attachments from getting to where they need to be going.

When I talked to Alyson before she left she said the forum was hosted offsite so I bet if Sheriff James contacts the hosting company their IT cats can fix it.

BBdave, it's your fault for jamming the system with the open house pic of you in the zebra-crossing-skincoat. :D

The pale-man is right...it's a . temp directory missing error (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=140532) (I'm not a programmer)

:confused: Same deal for me. If you have a site where you can host the photos, you could just use the "img" command to link them in to your message.

BBDave -- I just tried doing the same with some pictures of a wheelset that I'm selling in the classified section. I got the same message as you did. Hopefully, they will get this resolved soon.

So apparently you can still display a photo by pasting a link to another site, but you cannot upload your own photos?

Is this a problem? Or is it a new normal situation? I still have all these open house photos to post, and no, none of the rest show me in zebra stripes!

I had the same problem when attempting to post a photo of my spectacular, extremely useful, great, bargain, Automaxi Bike Case. If I coulda posted that sucker there would be a bidding war going on.

Anyone want a bike case? Good bike case? (Seriously) Inexpensive!
