Has anyone ever tried an Ird 12-32 or 12-30 10sp. cassette with either a medium or long cage Campy 10sp. rear derailleur ?

I have the one for Shimano and love it. Perfect all around cassette, having the 30 tooth is a great option.

Bump -- I'd be curious about this too, as I run a Campy 10 and have used the 13-29, but a 12-30 would be quite practical. The shift jumps on my 9-speed 11-28 (on a different bike) don't seem bad, so I'd think they'd be tolerable on a 12-30.

I have run a campy-IRD cassette with a Wipperman and Campy chains and a Campy med cage RD. I don't remember the exact size, but it was large, probably 12-30. Before the IRD cassette, that bike had a compact crank with a campy cassette. I just moved the RD and IRD cassette to my sons bike and am back to a full Campy short cage drive train on my bike.

The IRD cassette, and Campy med cage RD worked fine. The med RD can easily handle the large cogs. However, the shifting was never as crisp ( with either chain) as a full campy setup. If I were to do it again, I would look for a large Campy cassete and run it with a campy chain.

I use and IRD 30t with an older Campy 10 Record Long cage and a campy chain. Not problems at all. The cassette is a little weighty and not as nice, but the campy choices are all but nothing.

I REALLY with campy would offer a wide range cassette. They make long cage derailleurs and triples...
