Anyone ever tried the Hinault/Genzling sizing method? I had not heard of it until today (what do I know? ). I'm off the charts on this one but I'm going to play around with it and see what I come up with. Gotta get ready for that baseball bat tubed Legend or Big Leg Emma calling me.

William-pal, get ready to be "rounded", say "Hi" to Dario for me. Oh oh while you are on the phone with him, can you ask him whether he would honor the "lifetime warranty" on this frame even though I am not the original owner? 10 bucks for a "PIG-KARATE (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7162601711)", I still think it's a good deal.... :D Hey! Stop laughing at me, tall-pal.

Weisan-pal,

Just got off the phone with Dario. He says if you get the Forum HAZ-MAT team to clean it up, you're good as gold! ;)

What-are-we-waitin'-for-then?!?! Clean the sh-it up quick! It's worth at least 1k on the resale market...maybe more if it's personally autographed by ROUND himself, did you ask him about that? NO! :D

Hinault/Genzling is just the old inseam x .65, inseam x .883 that has been known in the US of A of the "Lemond method." Doof don't know why thems in Europe just don't call it the Lemond Method...maybe theys ferriners, maybe thems just ignert.

question:

Doesn't DWF's site say that AL can be repaired

but its expensive and requires great care and skill?

In such a case...

Would it be worth it to have your CCKMP "rounded" back into fighting shape?

doof means...ok...you have 650.00 AL Scott. Crash it, throw it away...repair is twice as much as new bike.

you have top-notch AL frame...say 2500...if the repair is 1500, is it worth it?

I spoke to a guy quite recently whose AL Pegoretti is in for "repair". Apparently, round can repair his AL frames.

Hey! Roy-pal, you can't just disappear for a while and then re-surface again to thwart my grand plan. Go back to your hole again, I will inform you when we sought after your expert opinion on a matching sock or the latest EPO assortment available in the market.

Roy, who did the repair??? That's good info. to have just incase. That e-bay bike uses an extremely delicate AL tubset it gives me the creeps.
