Black HB wrap, dual corded in your choice of cords.
Solid Ebony bar end plus.

Package dealski ... how is 165 fed reserve notes?

Shipping is extra ..... and Jason will charge a bit extra for any foam work
needed on the saddle.

Brooks can't be recovered since a Brooks is really a saddle, not a seat.

Jason needs an plastic/carbon seat underneath.

I can pretty much do any saddle without a cutout or rivets, e.g. Regal or Brooks. There's a big list of saddles I've done on the website.

ButtBra = LOL

Matching wrap and saddle. Think of the possibilities!

Or revitalize that trusty old saddle that fits your grundle so well.

This may be a step that makes things way more difficult, and I know you want to start off simple, but if you offered some simple matching stitching on the saddle covering (i.e. stitching that matched the bar wrap) I think that would really turn some folks on and allow you to charge a significant premium. (Just be sure to put the stitching in an area that does not affect comfort or chew up shorts.)

Good luck with the project.

Mr. Sq,

You better watch it out there, Jason and Ray may start experimenting with squirrel skin for the saddles and bar wraps. I know where they can get plenty of it...

1. New leather colors will be added as demand dictates. We are currently discussing "Fine Cigar" but are not there yet.

2. Custom saddle stitching will be added to the "future possibilities" list. There are logistical considerations with this request as Ray has his stitching done in NY and the saddles are recovered in TX.

I ran over a squirrel on my ride yesterday. I stayed up, but I'm pretty sure he went down. Sorry, little buddy.

Sweet!

It's been Aliante festival lately. I swear I've done 10 of them in the last few months. Two more are in the finishing stages now.

For a while it was SLR's. At one point I had five at the same time from five different people.

Someone please find Jason a source for Regal rivets!

AMEN BROTHER!!!

If anyone can find me a reliable source for Regal rivets, I'll make it worth your while.

Rivet specs:
15mm - head diameter
4mm - shaft diameter
13mm - material thickness, minimum

tubular, semi-tubular or copper belt rivets are preferred, but I'll take what I can get.

Believe it or not, I have previously checked everyone of those sources with no luck.

So I broke down and submitted a Design-a-Rivet quote request for 500 pieces. We'll see what pricing they come back with.

I appreciate the help. I will comb through them again. Maybe they have updated their inventory.

Based on the unavailability of these rivets, if the quote is good, that will mean I'm the only vendor with these rivets. So I can charge a FORTUNE for them  :D

Three ideas for sourcing Regal rivets:

Figure out who makes the copper buttons for denim jeans manufacturers and ask them.

Find out who makes Nashbar's Regal knockoff. Contact that seat manufacturer who is probably somewhere in Asia and perhaps they will sell the rivets to you.

Figure out a way to re-use the Regal rivets on the saddle. I have to believe that the copper head can be carefully removed from the rest of the rivet and attached to another rivet. Or the existing rivet can be drilled through and counter-sunk, with some kind of other brass, stainless steel or copper rivet or screw going through it to re-use it.

I may be completely off base here, or you may have already explored all these options. But I thought I'd throw them out there just in case!
