Is it okay to ask for valuations in the classifieds section? Should this be posted in GD or is this sort of thread a no-go anywhere on this forum? I do plan on listing here and local CL and NOT on ebay if that makes a difference...

I picked this up to replace my mid 90s ti Merckx frame but decided to hold on to the Merckx and realized that the aesthetics of the sloping top tube really don't do it for me.

Full titanium frame (3A1/2.5V), integrated headset (Cane Creek) and Litespeed carbon fork. Seven seatpost clamp. Looks to have very low miles and is in excellent condition, no dents or scratches. "Litespeed" decal on downtube has some cracks in it but looks great from a few feet.

I believe it is a 53, but with the sloping top tube I'm not positive.

the geo on this model had relaxed angles and tall headtube...attractive to some riders. down side is most people hate the shape of the headtube on that bike. it and the merlin solis were built to suit a similar purpose. the solis is hard to find, but a cool addition to a good collection.

if you do an advanced search on ebay for those bikes sold or not sold in the past, you can get an idea. you could deck it out like this one and NOT sell it for $2K.

Thanks guys. I did the completed listing searches but only saw the frames with carbon stays. Would the full ti frame be more or less desirable? I personally don't like carbon as a frame material so I would vote for full ti but that's just me...

And funny about the headtube shape being hated, it was one of the main features that made me fall for the frame...that and the headbadge.

@ Cinema: Thanks. I was thinking around $650-750 but really had no idea. I'll do a little more research then post her up here.

I bought the same frame/HS with reynolds fork on here about 8 months ago for $585. I felt like I got a great deal. It was winter, so maybe a bit low.
