I just love it when a lone rider takes the glory from the bunch. The finish was beautiful today, I was curling my toes.

It is especially nice when a young neo-pro takes a win away from the big dogs.

How could you not root for De Clerc? Fantastic. I have been watching the Giro live on Universal on the net early in the morning. Its been a lot of fun to watch.

If you are like me and do not understand Italian, Flemish or whatever, then go to Universalsports.com. For a fee, maybe $20, you can watch it live and watch the previous stages whenever. If you are fluent in western euro languages, go to steephill.com(free).

I hear Etna is erupting. . . Sunday may be more interesting than planned. or less.
Today was awesome tho- I thought for sure at 500m when dC looked over his shoulder the gig was up.

remember when Rinaldo Nocentini had the yellow jersey for 8 days in the 2009 tour de france. that was the best, he held on for so long. Every day i was yelling at my TV. every one loves an underdog
