Oh, yeah. Was hoping to be well by then since it would be a month since sick, doesn't look likely.

I have always wanted to do it. Something always happens. The gentleman that was the inspiration for the ride I think was killed sometime in May with 25,000 miles to that point by a school bus mirror. Wow. Nice to remember. Be careful out there.

I went in Dallas two years ago and it was not what I was expecting. Too much talk of bikes versus cars and how you are going to get killed out on the road. Scare tactics and very emotional.

I like to do what I can to make it better on the road for me and for cars. Pick your routes wisely.

At the end of the ride when I was driving home cyclists were taking up more than the entire lane in one direction blocking traffic in both directions.

Good idea but not done right here in Dallas two years ago. I am sure the rides vary greatly by location.

We had another cyclist killed here Wednesday. And one other who was hit and hospitalized.

My club supports the ride. See the calendar for May 18th: http://cibike.org/club-rides.html

We had three bikers run down by a Hummer yesterday:

It's very worthy and I'd like to go but I've made a commitment to coach a bunch of boys in soccer on Wednesday evenings -- don't feel that I can skip out on practice.
