They can't win can they? Didn't the race get moved back a good bit to lessen the chance of this happening?

Should be good TV if they don't cancel the stage.

I think Tahoe just got about 4" of snow two days ago. Should be interesting.

Can't wait... I'll be on the side of 89 on the Emerald Bay climb.

We were in the 80's over the weekend... 6 inches of snow on the trees today! (foothills of Colorado).

Excellent. The spring classics provide very little in the way of hard-man races. Fitting that they will have to come to California for the rough stuff.

this year the norcal snow pack is one of the heaviest in recent times. people are still skiiing

I had planned to go, but a 4.5 hour drive, to wait in cold, snow and then the drive home on sunday night traffic. no thanks now. really a bummer as I've made about half the stages in each of the years past.

time to bust out the surly pugsley for the snow stagesThe NOAA now predicts a 90% chance of snow for Sunday, but little or no accumulation. It will be very cold at any rate.

We are working in Antelope Valley in the desert in southern Cal this week. Some of the nearby mountains still have patches of snow on them...weird but beautiful.

My wife and family were in Tahoe this last weekend and it snowed over Sunday night. That seems to be California weather we've gone from the 80's to 90's to maybe rain in the Sacramento valley this coming weekend. unfortunately we can't control the weather. I'm sure the race will be great but it is a bummer to have to deal with possibly bad weather.
