is anyone using a Ti chain? i imagine the lifespan would be reduced from a good steel chain...

Damn, that looks like the ultimate bling; but I have a hard time springing $80 for a chain... I can't imagine it would last 3.5X as long as the KMC equivalent.

Are you going to keep us in suspense over how much weight it saves?

Regina made a Ti chain back in the day. You still see them on ebay. They were light, but they did'nt last long and I heard they failed.

I saw these and read the description. It said it had steel plates and Ti coated rollers. If that is true, I'd think it is a real stretch to called that a Ti chain.

Except for the color of the rollers, it looks just like a SRAM 1090R.
