I have an opportunity to purchase one - was interested in general impressions - comparison to the 1994 ish Colorado LT I have now. Shimano 600 "tri-color" components, pretty much stock I believe. Deep purple color with yellow accents/lettering. Thanks!

Typically, they have steeper angles (per DP) and therefore handle quicker.

Yep, typically longer top tube but steeper head tube angle. Very tight rear triangle, super stiff. Mine is an 87-88 model in SL, also came with full tricolor. Great bike, very stable at speed but corners well.

The LT was a nice bike and the DP was actually a little cheaper and also a litle heavier and stiffer. (more a pure race frame)

Thanks for the comments - helpful. Sounds like more of a classic crit bike as opposed to a very long day in the saddle steed. Still tempted though...
