You've posted photos that are so large that they totally distort the forum web page views when they load. The forum picture uploads are limited to 800 pixels in width for this reason--so they will fit on the width of an average sized computer screen.

When you attach links to photos this large it only distorts the page view and detracts from the forum viewing experience for most users. I have a 24" cinema display and only about half your photo is visible at one time.

Please be careful to link only to photos that are not "full-res."

Took a little research, but I was able to make click-able thumbnails.

Big and clear as possible doesn't work with posting on a forum.

Take your pictures as big as you can and then make them smaller.

Or upload your pictures to flickr and place a link in the thread.

imageshack.us -- has an option to resize images for web pages and forums. great option. 5mb size limit per pic is plenty too. if your pics are running larger than 2 megabytes and you're not a professional photographer (which i'm guessing you're not) then you're doing something wrong.

check the resolution settings on your camera. higher resolution doesn't mean clearer pictures. it just means bigger pictures. as they can still come out grainy and out of focus depending on many parameters (ISO, aperture, f stop, etc..)

setting your camera to AUTO and choosing a resolution somewhere in the middle of your options or slightly on the lower end SHOULD result in perfectly acceptable images.

I did this above.

Posting a thumbnail preview to a thread keeps the forums looking tidy and more importantly, easy to read. By simply combining the {url] and {img] tags you can make your thumbnail clickable so that people can then view the full sized version.

Click the Insert Hyperlink icon. Instead of entering text for your link you will need to enter an image tag for your thumbnail. Type {img] followed by the URL of your thumbnail preview, then close the tag by typing {/img]. In the second dialog, enter the URL to your full sized image, or the page containing the full sized image, in the first dialog. This will give you something looking like the following

{url=http://www.website.com/path/to/fullsize.jpg]{img]http://www.website.com/path/to/thumbnail.jpg[/img][/url]
or
{url=http://www.website.com/path/to/fullsizepage.html]{img]http://www.website.com/path/to/thumbnail.jpg[/img][/url]
